IS ANGER AT YOUR WIFE A SIN?

HUSBANDS AND WIVES Episode 12

Can God be angry? Well, it may seem unusual, but yes, God can be angry. When it comes to us, humans, the answer is clear. Let’s look at an example from the Book of Exodus, when the Israelites worship the golden calf, and God says to Moses, "Let my anger burn against them and destroy them." This shows that God's anger is a reaction to sin and the unfaithfulness of His people. However, God's anger is different from ours because it is just, pure, and always aimed at restoring justice and order. Unlike us, who often burst into anger over trivial matters, God gets angry only when it is truly necessary. It's like a higher form of anger from which we could learn.

What about anger in a relationship between a man and a woman? Can it be constructive, or is it just destructive? Anger in relationships, especially in marriages, is often seen as something negative, something to be avoided. But the truth is, anger, when processed properly, can serve as a driving force for growth and deeper understanding of each other. The Epistle to the Ephesians says, "In your anger, do not sin; do not let the sun go down while you are still angry." This means that anger itself is not a sin, but the way we process it can lead to good or evil. So, if you must be angry, do it wisely and with the ability to repair the damage.
