UNDAILY Episode 70
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
LUKE 6, 36-38 (NIV)
When human hearts become as hard as stone, the message of mercy, non-judgment, forgiveness, and generosity gains new significance. "Learn to be merciful, just as your Father in Heaven is merciful."
The world sets a frantic pace for our lives and calls for endless competition. It often leads us towards selfishness and forgetting about the needs of others. Yet, the teaching of mercy urges us to pause, to look at another person with empathy and understanding, regardless of any barriers and differences.
